Can I use PrEP as contraception?
It is so important to note that PrEP is NOT a form of contraception. PrEP, when used correctly and consistently, can help prevent HIV but it cannot prevent pregnancy and STIs. So using condoms is still the best way to prevent STIs. Female and male condoms, IUDs and other forms of contraception will prevent pregnancy.
